East Hickman (1-15, 1-5 District) kept the game somewhat competitive early on and trailed by only seven points midway through the second quarter. The Tigerettes completely dominated the next 12 minutes of play, however, outscoring the Lady Eagles 35-2 to open up a 40-point cushion early in the fourth quarter before coasting to a 32-point victory.
Junior center Lauren March led three Marshall County players in double figures with 13 points on six of 11 shooting to go along with five steals, two rebounds and one blocked shot. Guards Jessica McQueen and Kanesha McLean also scored 12 points apiece, with McQueen dishing out five assists as well.
