Margaret Ann Flippen Wright
Mrs. Margaret Ann Flippen Wright, 79, of Madison, Ala., died Sunday, Jan. 13, 2008.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Colbert County, Ala., and was retired from teaching in the Huntsville City Schools. She was a member of the Cultura Garden Club and a certified Red Cross water safety instructor. She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Jr. and Marguerite Flippen; husband, William Harold Wright; sister, Betty Jane Bryson; and brother, William Hampton Flippen.
She is survived by three daughters, Jane (Al) Fain of Madison, Ala., Eliza Ann (Craig) Adams of Ashburn, Va., and Missy (Ben) Richey of Russellville, Ala.; three sisters, Daisy (Jack) Kinard of Houston, Lou (Joe) Lasater of Belfast, Tenn. and Mary Flippen of Russellville, Ala.; three brothers, Murphree (Andi) Flippen of Killen, Ala., and Sam (Eleanor) Flippen and Dr. Joe Flippen, all of Florence, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral is at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, at the First Methodist Church in Russellville, Ala., followed by burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.
