Mrs. Jean L. Blalock, 69, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Blalock was a native of Marshall County. She was a retired customer service representative for Sanford Corporation with over 20 years of service. She was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Reeves and Alta Beatrice Haynes Lynch.
She is survived by her husband, W.R. "Bill" Blalock; daughter, Renee Blalock Fox; son, Kevin (Debbie) Blalock; sister, Linda Cordum, all of Lewisburg; two brothers, Jerry Lynch of Belfast and Larry Lynch of Hillsboro; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Feb. 5, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with James Watkins officiating, followed by burial in Ring Cemetery in the Pottsville Community of Maury County.
Employees of Blalock Plumbing and Electric Co. served as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church Street Church of Christ Mission Fund or the American Parkinson's Disease Association.
