Louise Sutton
Mrs. Louise Sutton, 82, of the Bedford Community of Bedford County, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sutton was a native of Bedford County. She was a nurses' aide at NHC Merihil for 13 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Etta Blankenship Rogers; husband, James Alfred Sutton; daughter, Mary Judith Poteete; and brother, Hoyte Rogers.
She is survived by four daughters, Julia Ann Sutton and Linda Nowlin of the Bedford Community, Patsy Hix of Wheel, and Joyce Havner of Shelbyville; sister, Corrine Ballentine of Brooksville, Fla.; one grandchild and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Feb. 4, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, followed by burial in Willow Mount Cemetery, Shelbyville.
