Jewel L. Wright
Mrs. Jewel L. Wright, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Wright was a native of Marshall County. She was a homemaker who had been a sales clerk at several department stores and, later in life, enjoyed dealing in antiques. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eunice Edward and Bessie Grace Brewer Blasingim; first husband, Edgar Marshall Lee; and brother, Lonnie Blasingim.
She is survived by her second husband, Jim Wright of Lewisburg; two daughters, Kay McGee of Lewisburg and Nancy Jewell of Rockvale; two sons, Scotty Lee of Chapel Hill and Marty Wright of Cornersville; three stepsons, James A. Wright of Petersburg, Gary Wright of Lewisburg, and Eddie Wright of Ethridge; three sisters, Wyvonne Ray of Lawrenceburg, Patsy Gipson Woods and Pam Harrison, both of Lewisburg; brother, Glenn Blasingim of Old Hickory; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Feb. 10, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with Mike Whitehead and Ed Campbell officiating, followed by burial in New Hope Cemetery at Ostella.
Pallbearers were Dustin Lee, Tyler Wright, Jacob Jewell, Jessie Jewell, Brandon Wiley, Chris Hill, Ronnie Hargrove, and Dick Elizer.
