Marshall County (22-5) jumped out to an early16-4 first quarter lead, built it to 29-17 by the end of the first and cruised home versus the bottom-seeded Eagles.
Senior DeShaun Greer led the way for the Tigers, finishing with 18 points and 19 rebounds. Blaise Spencer hit four three's and finished with 13 points, Hunter Osborne had three long bombs and scored 11, Ryan Nicholson netted 10, Jamie Perryman five, Dillon Stinnett scored three, and Cameron McCullough had two points.
The Tigers were without the services of freshman Kedron Johnson, who sat out with a hip pointer. Johnson is not expected back for ten days.
