Nancy Louise Wilson Mitchell
Mrs. Nancy Louise Wilson Mitchell, 52, died Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in Maury Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Mitchell was a native of Lawrence County. She was a former licensed practical nurse at Maury Regional Hospital and was a member of the Central Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William S. and Dorothy Dunkin Wilson; and her sister, Mary Helen Woody.
She is survived by her husband, James Nelson Mitchell of Culleoka; daughter, Cara Brittany (Chad) Braden of Pulaski; sons, William Duane Dungy of Murfreesboro, Charles Matthew Dungy of Nashville, and Phillip Wilson Dungy of Culleoka; stepchildren, Amy Taylor, and Christine, Heath, Shannon and Jason Mitchell; sisters, Virginia Lee Jones of Birmingham, Ala. and Sherry Joann (Johnny) Walker of Mobile, Ala.; brothers, William (Glenda) Wilson of Culleoka and Thomas Lindsey (Dot) Wilson of Mooresville; two grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 27, for visitation. Funeral services will be conducted there at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, with Rev. Robbie Crisp and Rev. Clark Albright officiating, followed by burial in Polk Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Duane Dungy, Charlie Dungy, Phillip Dungy, Chad Braden, Heath Mitchell, and Shannon Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Sgt. Jason Mitchell, Keith and Mary Jane Vasek, and Donovan Vasek.
