Liggett Street Church of God is pleased to celebrate the 12th Pastoral Anniversary of Elder Eddie Shirley. The theme of the celebration is: The Good Shepherd and it will take place on Sunday, March 9, at 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at 834 Liggett Street, Lewisburg, The morning service speaker is Elder Raymond Manier, Associate Minister of the Lebanon Church of God. Evening guests are Bishop J. E. Gordon and the Meharry Boulevard Church of God congregation.

Dinner will be served after morning worship. The chairpersons for the celebration are Sister Gail O'Neal and Sister Karen Olayinka.

Elder Shirley has pastored the Liggett Street Church of God for 12 years, but he has been a member of this church for nearly 30 years under the leadership of his parents, the late Bishop Charles and Sister Jessie Shirley. Elder Shirley's theme for our church this year is "Do You Know Jesus?" He is very serious about teaching the Word of God by precept and living example. He and his wife, Deborah Ogilvie Shirley live in Columbia, and have two chidren, Kayrin and Delesa, and one granddaughter, Makiah Reese, who is seven months old.

Elder Shirley's goal for our church members is to live so that others may see Christ in you and come to Him asking, "What must I do to be saved?" Liggett Street Church of God is proud to honor such an honest, upright leader as Elder Eddie Shirley, truly our Good Shepherd.
