The Dawgs, who finished the season at 15-15 played an inspired first half versus the number one-seeded Raiders, leading 23-19 after the first quarter and trailing by just two points, 39-37 at the half.
Moore County used a 22-4 run at the outset of the second half to open up an insurmountable margin at 61-41.
District 11A Coach of the Year Adrian Wilson said after the game, "Moore County is the number one team and they jumped on us there in the second half, and before we knew it we looked up and we were down by 20 points."
Cornersville, still fired up from their big quarter-final upset victory over Summertown came out strong. Trailing 5-0, the Dawgs' Steven Nelms buried a long three from the corner to make it 5-3.
