Megan Porter drains the eventual game winning three-pointer for the Lady Rockets with just over three minutes to play in the game.
"They will find a way to get it done, they always do." Those were the prophetic words spoken by Forrest head coach Robby Reasonover to assistants Randy Tombs and Davy McClaran when the Lady Rockets trailed by six points at the end of the third quarter.

They did and they did it a way that typifies the spirit this team has displayed for four years, coming from behind and outscoring Santa Fe 20-4 in a wild fourth quarter to win 57-47 and earn their third consecutive trip to the state tournament.

Senior Gaby Bussell, who was left off the ballot for Miss Basketball this year, was on the bench in foul trouble for much of the third quarter as Santa Fe pulled away, but she knew it was not over.

"I was so frustrated sitting on the bench", Bussell said and she took out her frustration on the Lady Wildcats, charging off the bench and leading the Forrest comeback, scoring ten of her team high sixteen points in the fourth quarter.

Forrest (29-3) returns to the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro Wednesday versus Wayne County (30-5) to try to redeem a first round loss last year to the eventual state champs Gleason and add a second state title to the one they magically captured in 2006, the only state crown in any sport for the Chapel Hill school.
