Mrs. Valta Lee Pigg Harris, 90, of Lewisburg, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at Rosewood Manor in Columbia.
Mrs. Harris was a native of Marshall County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Richland Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy C. Pigg and Mazie Endsley Pigg; three brothers, Russell, Billy, and Harold Pigg; and two nieces, Vickie Williams and Carolyn Baird.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert "Bob" Harris of Lewisburg; sister, Charlotte Earonhart of Cornersville; sister-in-law, Jean Griggs, and brother-in-law, J. B. "Jake" Harris, both of Lewisburg; and 17 nieces and nephews.
The family will be at Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home in the morning, Wednesday, March 12, until funeral services in the chapel there at 2 p.m. Buddy Pope will officiate, and burial will follow at Short Cemetery.
