Amanda Cherry of Lewisburg received the Who's Who Among Scholars in American Universities and Colleges Award at the annual University of Tennessee at Martin Who's Who Awards Ceremony. This award goes to students who have proven strength and character in academic achievement, extracurricular activities, and community service.

The Chapel Hill Youth Football League monthly board meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, at the Chapel Hill Fire Hall. The board will nominate and vote on head coaches for football and cheerleading. All nominees must be present. The meeting is open to the public.
