Willard Deece Stinson
Mr. Willard Deece Stinson, 68, of Olustee, Okla., died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at his residence.
Mr. Stinson was born in Madison, Tn., and graduated from Petersburg High School in 1957. He served in the Air Force for four years and worked as an electrical engineer at Altus Air Force base for 20 years. Mr. Stinson operated Stinson Electrical and A&W Pecans, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy and Willard Otalene Haislip Stinson; and his brother, Wendol Ray Stinson.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Anna Kay Cross Stinson of Olustee, Okla.; daughter, Pamela June (Gary Don) Morath of Wichita Falls, Texas; son, Ronald Deece (Laurie) Stinson of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Glynis Sue (L. L.) McClure and nephews, Wendell and Ricky McClure and their families, all of Delina; niece, Trina Hardrick of Lewisburg; five grandchildren; and the best friends a man could have, Arlis and D'Eon Thomason of Altus, Okla.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 14, from the chapel of People's Co-operative Funeral Home in Lone Wolf, Okla., with Rev. R. T. Perry officiating. Burial, with military honors by the Blue Knights Honor Guard of Altus Air Force Base, will be at Altus City Cemetery.
