Robin Johns' kindergarten class at Chapel Hill Elementary School won a Domino's pizza party by collecting the most money for St. Judes Children's Research Hospital during the Have a Heart fund-raiser in February.
First State Bank of Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill Elementary School and Rex's Foodland recently raised $3,446 for St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in Memphis.

The Jr. Board members of the Rocketeer School Bank conducted the 8th annual fund-raiser, called "Have a Heart," with the help of First State Bank staff, the faculty of Chapel Hill Elementary School and Rex's Foodland. Rhonda Walls and Jenita Daughrity were the project coordinators and assisted the Jr. Board as they prepared for the service project.

Rex and Glenda Messick and the staff at Rex's Foodland raised $900.23 in donations for the project. First State Bank collected additional money, as well as sponsoring the awards to motivate others to give generously.

CHES classrooms competed for the highest donation raising more than $2,300 for St. Jude. Robin Johns' kindergarten class was the top classroom, collecting more than $200 and earning them a pizza party sponsored by Dominos Pizza in Chapel Hill.
