Mrs. Mildred Wilson, 87, of Franklin, formerly of Lewisburg, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at NHC Cool Springs Healthcare.
Mrs. Wilson was a native of Morgan County, Alabama, and owned and operated Mi-Lady's Beauty Shop in the early 1950's and was employed with Taylor's Hospital as purchasing agent in the 1980's. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Nathan and Elsie Brown Williams; husband, Joseph Robert Wilson; and brother, Leonard Nathan Wilson, Jr.
She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis (Danny) Brewer of Knoxville; a son, John Robert (Monica) Wilson of Franklin; two sisters, Mary Evelyn (Joe) Davidson of Shelbyville and Eloise Bell of Maryville; sister-in-law, Joan Williams of Hermitage; brother, Brownie (Carolyn) Williams of Aiken, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 17, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with Will Brewer and Clay Derryberry officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Will Wilson, Thomas Wilson, Tommy Wilson, Race Wilson, Brent Davidson, and J. W. Luna.
