Suzanne Rogers Morice
Mrs. Suzanne Rogers Morice, 77, died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Maury Regional Hospital, due to complications related to multiple heart surgeries.
Mrs. Morice was a native of Pulaski, a member of the Episcopal Church, and a graduate of Peabody College, Nashville, where she met her husband, a college professor. She loved books, music, art, travel, political debate, and lively conversation, but her husband and family were the great joys of her life. Those lucky enough to have known her will remember her delighted laugh and the good-humored sparkle in her eyes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Sarah Ogilvie Rogers.
She is survived by her husband, Herbert O. Morice; three sons, Stephen (Mary) Morice of Minneapolis, Lawrence Morice of Lewisburg, and James H. Morice of Murfreesboro; two daughters, Waverley Lynne (David) Blausey of Wimberley, Texas, and Kathryn A. (Graham) Lewis of Charleston, Ill.; and two grandsons, James Morice of Sunrise, Fla. and Nolan Morice of Minneapolis.
A graveside memorial service was held on Sunday, March 30, at New Hope Cemetery, Cornersville, with Rev. Claude McMillion officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Marshall County Memorial Library or the American Heart Association.
