The Marshall County High School Tennis bounced back from their defeat at the hands of district rival Page last week to sweep Middle Tennessee Christian in a road match on Monday.
In the boy's singles matches, Connor Kennedy defeated John Mankin, 8-3, Josh Lewis won, 8-4, over Ben Hall and Drew Huitt defeated Jacob Haley, 8-2. Drew Killian lost a tough 8-4 match versus Matt Coats, and MCHS had one forfeit for an overall 3-2 win.
In doubles, Kennedy and Killian lost, 8-3, to Coats and Macon, but Lewis and Huitt won the final match to secure the 4-3 team win for the Tigers. The boys are now 2-2 on the year.
The Tigerettes are 3-1 on the season and continued their fine play, losing just one singles match. Rachel Wolfe won, 8-2, over Aisha Clark, Jenna Branaman soundly beat Katy Kahler, 8-1, Lyssa Wiles easily won, 8-3, over Brooke Grimsley, Allison Adcock beat Hailey Waldrin, and Allison Van Hooser had a nice 8-3 victory over Lydia Foutch.
