'Anna Montana' visits CHES
National School Breakfast Week, which was observed the week of March 3-7, was a fun-filled week for the students at Chapel Hill Elementary School.
Special breakfast activities were planned for each day. On Monday every student eating breakfast in the cafeteria received a prize.
Tuesday was Chicken Dance Day. Students ate their favorite breakfast of chicken and biscuits while they danced and listened to Chicken Dance music. Even the cafeteria staff and teacher assistants joined in the fun.
Wednesday was Lucky Bookmark Day. All students received bookmarks, and if their bookmark had a lucky sticker on it, they won a prize.
Friday was the culmination of a great week. The students at CHES were treated to a "live" appearance by Anna Montana, long-lost cousin once removed of Hannah Montana, and Nana Montana, nana of Anna Montana.
Anna arrived in style with her bodyguard and a special rock star friend, who gave a live performance during breakfast in the lunchroom.
Special Hannah Montana prizes for the girls and different prizes for the boys were given away to lucky students. Every student also received Anna Montana's autograph. All in all, it was a 'rockin' kind of breakfast at CHES.
A special thanks goes to Hannah Phifer, Richard Hardin and Brooks Lamb for their contribution to this event.
