Gerald Thomas Turner
Mr. Gerald Thomas Turner, 89, of Nashville, formerly of Lewisburg, died Thursday, April 17, 2008, at his residence.
Mr. Turner was a veteran of World War II, and was retired from Vought Industries after 35 years. He was a charter member of Dalewood United Methodist Church, Weakley Fellowship Sunday School class.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Reba Adair Turner; wife of 8 years, Octa Vaughn Turner; and wife of 4 years, Roselle Peal Turner.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy (Bob) Sullins of Brentwood and Jane (Monty) Williams of Memphis; sister, Wylene (Briggs) Nix; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Turner was buried at Woodlawn Memorial Park on Saturday, April 19. A memorial service was conducted at Dalewood United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 20.
Memorial donations may be made to the Dalewood United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home of Nashville was in charge of arrangements.
