FCB announces new senior vice president

First Commerce Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Jeff Whitmore as its new senior vice president.

Whitmore, who resides in Fayetteville, graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a bachelor of business administration in finance.

He also attended the Graduate School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State Univer-sity and the Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University.

He has been in the banking industry for 27 years with the core of his experience being in commercial lending and bank management.

Whitmore has been an active member of his community in Fayetteville. He is a member of the Fayetteville City School Board and the Board of Directors of the Fayetteville/Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce and is the past director and treasurer of the Fayetteville Rotary Club.

He is also the past chairman of the Fayette-ville/Lincoln County Industrial Development Board. He is presently a board member on the South Central Tennessee Business Development Corporation Board that serves the Marshall County area.

Jeff and his wife, Lora, have two sons, Chris and Brett, who are both attending college. He and his family are members of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville.

Jeff's long time experience and knowledge of banking will help First Commerce Bank move forward in an ever changing business environment, according to President Bill Marsh.

"I have known Jeff and his family for over 40 years and am proud that he has become a part of our banking family," Marsh said.
