New minister to begin May 4 at Westvue

The Westvue Church of Christ is pleased to announce their new minister, Rick Rolin. Rolin, a native of Minor Hill, has preached for the past 24 years, the last 18 of them in Hurricane Mills, where he served the Wildwood Valley congregation. He has a bachelor's degree from the International Bible College in Florence, Ala., and a master's degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville. He and his wife Sue have a son, Caleb, who will graduate from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville this month. The Rolins will begin their work at Westvue on Sunday, May 4, beginning with morning worship at 9 a.m., followed by Bible classes at 10:15. That evening Westvue will host an area-wide youth devotional, beginning at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, May 18, is Friends and Family Day, with a potluck meal following worship and Bible classes.
