Soil Conservation District celebrates Earth Day
Each year on April 22, people across the world celebrate Earth Day. This day is set aside to promote awareness of environmental issues. Earth Day teaches people that they can help the pollution in the air and water, they can conserve water and electricity, and they can control the litter on the streets and in the landfills. In celebration of this special event, the Marshall County Soil Conservation District made a donation of $100 to each of the three county high schools in continued support of their agriculture programs.
