Mrs. Lillian Mai Brown Haley, 87, of Cornersville, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Haley was a native of Lincoln County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Farmington Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin Brown and Nena Sutton Brown; husband, Melvin Haley; son, Leonard Douglas Haley; brothers, Fred and Charlie Brown; sister, Thelma Doggett; and grandson, Robert Ray Brewer.

She is survived by her sons, Wallace Haley of Lewisburg and Fred D. Haley of Cornersville; daughters, Mary Ellen Sawdey of Cornersville and Margaret Brewer of Shelbyville; sisters, Nancy Jett of Lewisburg and Nena Crump of Texas; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 4, from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home, followed by burial in Mars Hill Cemetery.
