After 80 minutes of regulation and two 10-minute overtimes, the Forrest Rockets and Cascade Champions saw their seasons hang in the balance on the legs of their best scorers in shoot-out soccer.
Not even then, after a 3-3 deadlocked first shoot-out period would the game be decided. Forrest fell behind 2-0 in the shoot-out before Matt Allen, Martin Bucerra and Devin O'Brien all scored for the Rockets to go up 3-2.
Cascade sent it to a second shoot-out period when Michael Martin found the back of the net to make 3-3. TSSAA rules state a new group of shooters must come out for the second session. Jonathon Wilkerson scored first for the Rockets, but was matched by Cascade's Timo Murray to make it 1-1.
