Violet Dillehay Cheatham

Mrs. Violet Dillehay Cheatham, 92, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at NHC Oakwood.

Mrs. Cheatham was a native of Marshall County. She was retired from Genesco and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Arthur and Bertha Tally Dillehay; her husband of 71 years, Wilburn Cheatham; and sisters, Mary Cornelia Rogers and Virginia Bell Martin.

She is survived by her son, Frank W. Cheatham; grandson, James Cheatham; and one great-granddaughter, all of Lewisburg.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
