Columbia State Community College site director Elizabeth McDow presents Gayle Vore with the 2008 Lewisburg Campus Leadership Award. Vore served as chair of the student activities committee this year. She was instrumental in initiating and implementing the Lewisburg campus 'Go Green' campaign, putting in place a comprehensive recycling program in coordination with the county's solid waste department. Vore is majoring in general technology and maintains a 3.8 gpa.
