Ruth Horton

Mrs. Ruth Horton, 80, of Lewisburg, died Friday, May 9, 2008, in Columbia.

Mrs. Horton was a native of Lincoln County. She was a homemaker, but had been employed at Cosmolab and Parson's Pharmacy and also with Dr. John Leonard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Pearl Corbin Polly; her husband, William Bryant Horton; and twelve brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Horton of Snellville, Ga. and Larry Horton of Parkland, Fla.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 11, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Randy Curtis officiating, followed by burial in Swanson Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
