Walter Webb
Mr. Walter "Buddy" Webb, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, in Franklin.
Mr. Webb was a native of Marshall County. He was retired from Sanford Corporation after 45 years of service and was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Lena Crane Webb; wife, Betty Jean Phifer; sister, Sue Jett; and brother, Claude Webb.
He is survived by a son, Gary (Mary) Webb of Lewisburg; stepson, Michael Luna of Nashville; sister, Mary Turner of Columbia; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 18, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home, followed by burial in Berea Cemetery, near Verona.
