Lonnie B. Perry, Sr.

Mr. Lonnie B. Perry, Sr., 69, of the Farmington Community, died Sunday, May 18, 2008, following an extended illness.

Mr. Perry was a native of Davidson County. He was a veteran of the Air Force and a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E. C. and Sarah Hampton Perry; sister, Mary Crockett; and brother, Cecil Perry.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Stowell Perry of Farmington; daughter, Belinda Myers of Greenbriar; sons, Jeff Perry of Chapel Hill, Kenneth Perry of Cornersville, and Lonnie Perry, Jr. of Smyrna; sisters, Marie Perry of Nashville and Dee Dee Terrell of Fairview; brothers, Carl Perry, Sr. of Franklin; Willie Perry of Leeds, Ala., and Bobby Perry of Mt. Juliet; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will be at Swanson Cemetery, Chapel Hill.
