Members of AARP Chapter #5249 participated in AARP Service Day to explain 'Divided We Fail,' an effort to ensure quality, affordable health care and long-term financial security. They distributed literature in a booth at the Health Fair held at the Lewisburg campus of Columbia State Community College on May 10. At the May 12 meeting of AARP #5249, employees of National Health Care Corporation presented a program on long-term health care. They also explained the difference of services offered by nursing home care, assisted living, adult day care, Medicare and Medicaid.
