26 In honor of Memorial Day, Lewisburg American Legion Post 39 will have a program at 11 a.m. Monday, May 26, on the Courthouse lawn. Mr. Ted Duning will be the guest speaker. Special music will be presented by Bobby Jeter and his daughters Rachel and Hannah. Wreaths will be placed at the various war monuments. Taps will be played at the conclusion of the program. The VFW extends an invitation to everyone to have lunch at the VFW building immediately following the program. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held at the Marshall County Community Theater.
