Willis Houston Chapman

Mr. Willis Houston Chapman, 84, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at NHC Lewisburg.

Mr. Chapman was a native of Marshall County. He was retired from Heil-Quaker Corporation and was a member of the Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Milton and Carrie Amanda Ketchum Chapman; sisters, Dora Isaballe Murdock, Berna Elizabeth Webb, and Edna Lucille Shaw; and brothers, Jimmie Howard Chapman and Charles Milton Chapman.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annie Ruth Askin Chapman of Lewisburg; daughter, Janice Willene (Nicky) Foster of Catalpa; sisters, Mary Manerva Coil of Mooresville and Birdie May Tate and Geraldine Richardson, both of Lewisburg; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, May 24, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
