Mary Edith Tate
Mrs. Mary Edith Tate, 81, died Monday, May 26, 2008, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Pulaski.
Mrs. Tate was a native of Giles County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Claude and Annie Alma Edmonson Rogers; husband, Luther Lee Tate; son, Keith Tate; brothers, David and Norman Rogers; and sister, Dorothy Holder.
She is survived by her son, Micky Tate of Cornersville; daughters, Gretchen Cody of Albuquerque, N. M., Mary Lee Tate of Pulaski, and Marsha Hood of Goodspring; daughter-in-law, Patsy Tate of Longmont, Colo.; sister, Ella Will Sulcer of Lynnville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home, Pulaski.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, from the chapel of Carr and Erwin Funeral Home with Mark Johnson officiating, followed by burial in Prospect Cemetery.
