GED Plus receives incentive

Ashley Fenwick and Jason McKnight are the first Marshall County recipients to receive a $500 incentive as part of a new program known as GED Plus.

GED Plus is a special program offered by South Central TN Workforce Alliance to eligible participants who have dropped out of the school. The program promotes the need and advantages of earning a GED and how important that credential is when entering the modern workforce.

In addition to the GED incentive, participants are eligible for an additional $500 in incentive monies, paid in increments, for being employed or in post-secondary school for the next three quarters.
