"Keep learning" was the message Cornersville Elementary School Principal Bonnie Reese gave sixth graders during sixth grade graduation ceremonies at the school on Friday, May 23. Reese spoke to a capacity crowd as family and friends attended the morning festivities. Prior to the awarding of diplomas, sixth graders Jessica Dunn performed a piano solo, Joslynn Scarfone recited the class poem, and Meredith McMasters presented the class speech. After awards were given, Mrs. Landers and Mrs. White stepped to the podium to present the sixth grade diplomas to the students heading to Cornersville Middle School next school year: Jamie Campbell, Makayla Chidress, Bailey Davis, Ariel Dooley, Jessica Dunn, Megan Gordon, Jessie Harris, Tyler Henderson, Brooke Holt, Elysia Izzo, Lucas Kent, Ashley King, Brian Lowe, Tyler Lowrey, Kelly Lyle, Maranda Martin, Meredith McMasters, Keifer Poarch, Tristan Poarch, Matt Reusch, Courtney Roberts, Cody Robertson, Kolton Sharp, Madalyn VanHise, Taylor Wolaver, Tyler Wright, Angel Zudel, Taylor Adams, Tori Conner, Samantha Dalton, Chase Dunivant, Amala Elder, Brad Foster, Blake Giles, Levi Henry, Dylan Herren, Will Jett, Mary Jane King, Kristen Longshore, Tiffanie McCafferty, Sara Mitchell, Rebeca Nunez, Amy Osteen, Taylor Parker, Jacob Reeves, Stone Riner, Joslynn Scarfone, Zach Shaddy, Jamey Singleton, Haley Stacey, Jody Sullivan, Brandon Tryon, Rhiannon Warren, Ryan Whittle, Matthew Wright, Mike Hughes, and Katie Wray.
The entire sixth grade class closed the program with the class song, 'Lean on Me.'
