Pearl Marshall Hooten, 87, of Lewisburg, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Hooten was a native of Mt. Pleasant. She was retired from Cathey Furniture Manufacturing Company and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Allen and Lucy Nevills Marshall, and husband, J. W. Hooten.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy (Bob) Collins of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; sons, Bill (Marilyn) Hooten of Murfreesboro and Anthony (Angela) Hooten of Huntsville, Ala.; sister, Nora Marshall King of Mt. Joy; brother, Edward Marshall of Nashville; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 15, from Church Street Church of Christ, with Mike Baker and John Tracy officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jim Hooten, Kirk Hooten, Tim Collins, Jim Robinson, Marshall Hooten, Justin Seagraves, and Ben Wakefield.
London Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
