Will Norris Hunter
Will Norris Hunter, 87, of Lewisburg, died Friday, June 27, 2008, in Nashville.
Mr. Hunter was a native of Marshall County. He served with the Army in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was retired from the State of Tennessee and was a life-long member of the Verona United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Norris and Nelle Long Hunter, and wife, Ernestine Williams Hunter.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Kenny) Benson of Lawrenceburg and Patti Lu (Joe) Moss of Lewisburg; and grandchildren, Beth Benson, Betsy (Chris) Phelps, Hunter Moss, and Joey (Meredith) Moss.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, June 29, from the chapel of London Funeral Home, with Reverend Bill Ralston officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Harold Daughrity, Tom Hunter, Gilbert Hunter, Mack Bowden, Don Bowden, Mike Davis, Ernie Blackburn, and Phil Blackburn.
