UT AgResearch to hold field day

Tuesday, August 5, is the date for the annual Steak and Potatoes Field Day at the University of Tennessee Plateau AgResearch and Education Center in Crossville. Registration begins at 8 a.m., with the program running from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

A sponsored lunch will be provided.

New this year is a special Pesticide Recertification Session. Limited seating is available. For priority seating, please call 931-484-0034. A $15 fee is required, payable at the door.

Throughout the event experts from the University of Tennessee will present short seminars on topics of interest to cattle producers; fruit and vegetable growers; and landowners interested in managing their forests.
