A Lewisburg man, charged with dealing drugs last year, was found guilty by a Marshall County jury on Friday. The judge has scheduled an October sentencing hearing, officials said Friday.

Kenneth Gregory Allen, 30, of Lewisburg was returned Friday to the Marshall County Jail after a jury issued guilty verdicts on charges of possession with intent to sell or deliver crack cocaine and three charges of sale or delivery of crack, according to public records and information from police.

The jury issued its verdict about an hour after Crigler explained the laws on the offenses charged by the 17th Judicial District's Drug Task Force. Deliberations took about 45 minutes as the judge took some time to perfect instructions, Task Force Agent Billy Ostermann said. Allen's sentencing hearing is set for Oct. 8.
