SunDrop burglars caught

City Police are asking Marshall County's Juvenile Court judge to declare a couple of Lewisburg boys as delinquent as a result of alleged crimes at the Lewisburg Recreation Center on West Commerce Street last month.

Jimmy Stitt, the recreation center's aquatics director said, "We had two SunDrop machines raided and a vending machine for snacks broken open. One used a pole to enter. The sad thing is they didn't get the dollar bills out. They just got the change."

Coins valued at less than $17 were taken but $43 in dollar bills were left in the machine, Stitt said.
