Crowd dismayed at landfill hearing

Most of the local residents at a state hearing on Cedar Ridge Landfill last week walked out as a group, apparently dismayed by what they heard.

"I think that everybody had heard enough," said Phil Allen, a Webb Road resident who waters his donkeys and beef cattle at East Fork Globe Creek.
