Gustav escapees flee here

Southerners became so familiar with folks who avoid cold winters in the North that they gave them a name, snow birds. With the recurring evacuation orders because of hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico, perhaps there will be a nickname for the wave of evacuees streaming northward from New Orleans and other Gulf Coast communities.
