Town has new leaders

CHAPEL HILL -- Since the town's election last month, there have been changes on panels governing three functions of the municipality.

The election of Alderwoman Marion Joyce to the Board of Mayor and Aldermen has led to her appointment to succeed former Alderwoman Kris Holton, who did not seek re-election.
