Chapel Hill notes

It's really cold right now (Wed.), but according to the forecast, the weather should feel more like Spring by the weekend! I guess we'll see!

The Rockets basketball teams will travel to Richland Friday, Feb. 6 for games beginning at 6 p.m.; They will move on to Collinwood Monday, Feb. 9.

Tip-off time for the girls is, once again, 6 p.m. Then it's going to be time for District tournaments!

The Rocket wrestlers will compete with teams from Greenbriar and Coffee Co. Tuesday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m.

Students at CHES and Forrest will have a holiday Friday, Feb. 13 as well as Monday, Feb. 16, which is President's Day.

Saturday, Feb. 14 is Valentine's Day! Everyone has about a week to to find their valentine a gift (if that hasn't already been done)!

Saturday evening (Valentine's night), the Women's Ministry group of Chapel Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church will sponsor a Valentine's Day Dinner, to be held at the church from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Everyone is invited to enjoy delicious (maybe romantic) meal for the low cost of $10.00 per person!, Child care will be provided. They won't get the dinner, but they will be cared for, which may give you and your valentine an opportunity to share a meal alone!
