March named Miss Basketball finalist

Marshall County High School senior Lauren March was named as one of the three finalists for the Class AA Miss Basketball award today by the TSSAA.

The other two finalists named are Lashay Davis from Upperman High School and Chassidy Fussell from Obion County Central High School.

The three finalists were the result of a nomination process conducted by media members and head coaches throughout the state.

The nominees were then pared down to the final three by a selection committee made up from a selected group of statewide sportswriters.

The winner will be announced after the Class AA championship game at MTSU on Saturday March 21.
