A Petersburg man called the Marshall County Sheriff's Department to complain of harassment last week.
Detectives Bart Fagan and Bob Johnson responded to a call from John Hill, 51, of Morgan Ave., Petersburg, about 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17.
Hill told the detectives "there was a vehicle parked illegally on Morgan Avenue," Fagan wrote in his report. "The three subjects put their middle fingers up towards Hill and drove away. A few minutes later a small silver car pulled into his driveway and a male said for Hill to stay out of his business 'or I'm going to hurt you.'"
Fagan reported that Hill did not know the man's name.
The detectives advised Hill to call the sheriff's office if he had any more problems.
