Georgia E. Williams
Georgia E. Williams, 89, of Petersburg, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009. at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Warren County. She was reitred from Genesco Corporation in Chapel Hill, and was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Adamson and Minnie Irene Foster; her first husband, Bob Keirsey; her second husband, James Williams; and a brother, Edward Adamson.
She is survived by her sisters, Jean Allman of Petersburg, Mackon Grissom of Flintstone, Ga., and Pauline Simpson of Tullahoma; and brothers, James and Jessi Medley, both of Mississippi, and Ufa Grey "Shorty" Medley of Petersburg.
Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, from the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Tim McGehee and Doug Brown officiating, followed by burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, at 12:30 p.m.

Dorothy Ann Kania
Dorothy Ann "Dot" Kania, 79, of Belfast, died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at NHC-Lewisburg.
Mrs. Kania was a native of Somerville, N.J., and had been a registered nurse at Somerville Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star and First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Lewisburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Wagner, and a brother, Harlan Wagner Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bruno Kania of Belfast; sons, Don (Sally) Kania of Lewisburg and Scott (Cindy) Kania of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services were held Thursday, June 4, in the chapel of Bills-McGaugh Funeral Home with Wayne Morgan officiating. Inurnment will take place in New Jersey.
