Obituary: David Thomas Pickett

David Thomas Pickett, 77, of Cornersville, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Pickett was a native of Giles County. He was a retired logger.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest and Esther Noles Pickett; brother, Kenneth Pickett; and sisters, Mary Ealy and Martha Fitzpatrick. He is survived by his son, Wayne Pickett of Lewisburg; daughters, Cathy Pickett Reed of Franklin, Sandra Pickett Long of Lewisburg, and Donna Pickett Haynes of Chapel Hill; brother, Solon Pickett of Lewisburg; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 10, at Booth Chapel Cemetery, Minor Hill.
