Harold Douglas "Bud" Wade, 78, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, July 11, 2009, in Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mr. Wade was a native of Marshall County. He was retired from Faber-Castell Corporation after a long career, and in 1995 he started the Tennessee Pencil Company. He was a member of Church Street Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Eugene and Martha Cook Wade; first wife, Julia Owen Wade; and brother, Tommy Wade.
He is survived by his second wife, Margaret Ledford Haislip Wade of Lewisburg; son, Mark (Lori) Wade of Lewisburg; daughter, Denise (Mitch) Coker of Mount Juliet; stepson, Jeff (Missie) Haislip of Lewisburg; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 14, from the chapel of London Funeral Home with John Tracy and Bill Tankersley officiating, followed by burial in Lone Oak Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Buddy Jones, Bob McCullough, Harold Crick, Randy Short, Jimmy Chapman, and Brian Coker.
