VA medical benefits to be explained Aug. 6

Veterans Administration medical benefits are the subject of a seminar offered at no charge to visitors next month at the Church Street Church of Christ Annex.

The Marshall County Commission's Veterans Committee is hosting the Veterans Workshop at 6 p.m. on Aug. 6, a Thursday, according to Commissioner Larry McKnight, a retired colonel.

The Veterans Administration and AMVETS will provide the speakers who are to discuss VA benefits to include medical resources. After the presentations veterans will be asked to provide information to the Veterans Committee on topics they would like to see the committee focus on to assist them with military-related needs.
